Open Question: How come teams that lose the Super Bowl end up struggling the next season? end up missing the playoffs?

post-season? Why is that such a common trend in the NFL in recent years? the NFL team that loses the Super Bowl ends up struggling the next season, and missing the playoffs. I've heard of something called "the Super Bowl" hangover. But what I find very unusual and surprising, is that this type of trend does not happen in the NBA, MLB, NHL, teams that lose the NBA Finals, lose the World Series, Stanley Cup Finals, usually still end up making the playoffs, post-season, they still end up doing great the following year, but how come not in the NFL? I know that Free Agency is a reason, but how come Free Agency does not have as much impact on teams in the NBA, MLB, NHL, as much as in the NFL?... Read More »
