Open Question: Nba 2k12 autosave problem?

So I've heard and read about the my player finals glitch that if you win the championship it freezes. And that if you turn auto save off it will stop it from freezing. Well I went and turned it off before the finals started and it still autosaved after the first game. So I went and checked the setting and it says that it's turned off but yet it is still autosaving.
